Balamara Industries is a WA-owned business bringing together Balamara Livestock Systems and general and specialist fabrication from our Bunbury workshop. Balamara Livestock Systems handles cattle yard and equine infrastructure projects.
Built from the work we know
Balamara Industries is owned and operated by Jacinta Burns and Michael Mamo in South West Western Australia, bringing together practical farming, cattle, mechanical and fabrication experience under one business.
Balamara grew from the work we were already doing ourselves. Farming, running cattle, maintaining equipment, building infrastructure and solving the practical problems that come with rural properties all shaped the way the business developed.
Working cattle ourselves gave us a firsthand understanding of cattle behaviour, livestock flow, working yards, property conditions and the difference between infrastructure that looks good on paper and a system that actually works once stock are moving through it.
Built from real experience
Two very different roles. One business.
Michael brings the cattle-handling, farming, mechanical and fabrication experience that shapes the practical side of each project, from site visits and yard planning through to installation and problem-solving on the ground. Jacinta leads the business side of Balamara, including sales, customer communication, strategy, marketing and operations.
That combination is a big part of how Balamara works: practical knowledge from the field, backed by the systems, communication and project coordination needed to actually deliver the job properly.
Every project starts with understanding the job properly. That means looking at the site, how the finished build needs to function, what already exists and what needs to happen before fabrication or installation begins.
Design, fabrication, site works and installation are then coordinated around the finished outcome, with practical decisions made early rather than being left to sort themselves out on site.
That approach runs across Balamara, whether the job is a cattle yard, equine build, custom fabrication project or something completely outside the standard range.
